Rwanda, East Africa | Medicine, Health, and Society | 2018
Denise Wanyana is a rising senior at Vanderbilt majoring in Medicine, Health, and Society. Denise is an international student from Rwanda, East Africa. This summer, she will be participating in a London Global Service program through Vanderbilt’s Office of Active Citizenship and Service. Denise will be working with local organizations in East London that address community healthcare, well-being, leadership, and self-management. She hopes to learn more about the healthcare system and bridge the gap between her course work and the real world.
